Tales of Hammerfist

Fantasy/Horror/Action

SYNOPSIS:
Tales of Hammerfist is the story of people living in the shadow of a fallen kingdom where peace between devils and men has lasted for decades. The city of Teufeldorf has seen a resurgence of monster attacks and the townspeople must find a way to absolve the problem before war breaks.

Berend Eberhardt, a blacksmith, has come to Teufeldorf for peace, quiet, and maybe some adventuring here and there. While carousing in the local pub he meets Adelind Fuchs, the barkeep & brewmaster who knows the secrets to the past. It doesn't take long for Berend to find his adventure.

CREATORS:
Pencils & Inks - Tobias Gebhardt
Colors - Stephen Yan
Script - John Kratky

This story is a collaborative effort created by John & Tobias who have worked on two other comics together. The work to bring their characters to life wouldn't be complete without the amazing and lively colors of Stephen Yan.

OLD SCHOOL COMICS

Coffee Time

Coffee Time

Comedy/Drama/Slice-of-Life

SYNOPSIS:
Coffee Time is about a little coffee shop in the middle of a sprawling city and all the kids who work there. Both volumes of the comic feature many stories that build up to one big finale.

There's too many characters to name here, but the comics is filled with something for everyone. It's got street racers, karate champs, pro-wrestlers, gangsters, bookworms, stoners, and more.

CREATORS:
Pencils & Inks - Tobias Gebhardt
Script - John Kratky

This is the first comic collaboration between Tobias & John and you can really tell once you start reading it. The panels are rough, there's too much dialogue on the page, word bubbles sometimes have odd placement, and it's all around amateur. BUT, it improves a lot once the second volume starts. We've placed it back on the internet because we all have to start somewhere and there is absolutely no shame in that. In comics, there's only one real way to get your education, and that's to just do it.

Across the Way

Across the Way

Noir/Drama/Action

SYNOPSIS:
Across the Way is the story about Erik, a veteran returning home from war to find that his own life has moved on greatly from where he left it, but his old gang hasn't changed much at all. In fact they may be worse and if he isn't careful he may end up back in his old ways again.

Though Erik has seen lots of bad, before the war and during, he knows it's time to leave it all behind. Can he do it, and what will be the cost?

CREATORS:
Pencils & Inks - Tobias Gebhardt
Script - John Kratky

This is the second comic collaboration between Tobias & John. A lot of the kinks were worked out at this point, but there is still a noticeable problem with the placement of the word bubbles. What can you do? In a way, this is a precursor/brother comic to The Black Wall, not only in the fact that it is a noir featuring a soldier, but also in themes. But it fully exists in the world of Coffee Time, in fact it's just across the way.
